CORTE PICCINOTTI is a portion of an old farmhouse that has been recently restored and it is situated in a tiny group of houses at the foot of the hills surrounding Lucca and the Monte Serra. Given its position, this is the right place to start visiting many beautiful sights such as : LUCCA (at only 7 km), PISA (20 km), FLORENCE (60 km), the famous beaches in VERSILIA and in FORTE DEI MARMI, all reachable in max. 1 hour drive. And don't forget a game of golf at the nearby Club in MONTECATINI TERME or a relaxing day at the Thermal Spa in CASCIANA (Pisa), BAGNI DI LUCCA and the famous GROTTA GIUSTI in MONSUMMANO TERME.

There is private parking at the property and its position offers maximum privacy in order to have a relaxing holiday close to nature and green areas. The garden that surrounds the house in being redone in this period but in september it is possible to participate at the grape harvest and in november at the olive harvest in a serene and informal ambience.

The proximity to the original Via Franchigena route and the remains of the "100 FATTORIE ROMANE", make a stay in CORTE PICCINOTTI also interesting for archeology lovers. During the months of March and April botanical visits are being organized to the collections of the "ANTICHE CAMELIE LUCCHESI", in the parks of some famous villas of the Compitese area. Not to forget the possibility of visiting the famous "LUCCA COMICS" event during the first days of november, a famous event that attracts cartoon lovers from all over the world.

The house is on 3 floors, from the square in front of the house (where there is the private parking) you come into the large living room which has been tastefully furnished with nice period furniture and also some antiques. On this same floor there is also a large country-style kitchen, with a nice fireplace and exit onto the verandah and garden through French doors (under construction). Next to the kitchen there is a toilette and the living room.

The living room, situated next to the kitchen, has a big SAT-TV, stereo hi-fi set with CD, DVD player and VHS video player. The 2 sofas can be made up a single beds. It is a comfortable room, nicely furnished and very colorful!

From the living room there are stairs to the first floor with 2 bedrooms with double bed, a sitting room and a bathroom with shower. On the second floor there is 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with twin beds, a spacious and elegant sitting room and a bathroom with shower (marble). There is a TV in each bedroom and the furnishing are treated in detail with period furniture and antiques.

The spacious kitchen has a nice fireplace. There is a fridge/freezer, electric and microwave oven, iron/iron board, toaster, blender and mixer. Also in this room the details are important: various decorations, antique dishes and trays and old pans decorated with decoupage.

The furniture is the original house furniture in chestnut and has been recently restored to bring them back to their original splendor: There is a cupboard with drawers for cutlery and utensils and a table with a tipping cover containing the kitchen linen (these also almost all original from the house, in old woven hemp and embroidered by hand).

The grounds are almost completely fenced. The garden is under construction in this moment. There are various fruit tress such as pear trees, fig trees, plum trees ans also vineyards which have not been treated with chemicals in order to directly pick the fruits from the trees.
