The Azienda Agrituristica, in the very center of the Costa degli Etruschi (Etruscan Coast), is placed in an ideal position to make interesting visits and excursions through the lovely land of Tuscany.
Besides a magnificent natural landscape, Tuscany can boast a great artistic and historical patrimony: villages of the middle ages, romanesque parish churches castles and etruscan settlements. Along the coast there are beaches and rocks and thick pinewoods overlooking a crystal-clear sea which has won the blue European Flags many times.
An extraordinary environmental patrimony includes parks and protected areas, faunal shelters, naturalistic oasis.
In close proximity there are:
Suvereto (18 Km.) - a village of the Middle Ages full of history and art, in the green valley with of the rivar Cornia;
Populonia (22 Km.) - dominating the old village; gorgeons the view of the Gulf of Baratti below where you can visit the Etruscan Necropolis;
Massa Marittima (28 Km.) - Medioeval town with many museums and with a splendid dominating Romanesque-Pisan Duomo (Cathedral);
The Terme di Caldana (12 Km.) - a spa fit for a course of mud baths and hydrotherapy with sulphureous waters;
The Elba Island (boarding: 19 Km.) - the largest of the Arcipelago Toscano, with more than 100 km of coasts with woods, chestnut trees and a mount more than 1000 mt. high;
Volterra (75 Km.) - Medioeval town with a splendid panoramic position, watershed between the valleys of the Cecina and the Era. It can boast monuments and artistic and archaeological collections as heritage of its past of powerful Etruscan lucumony.
