The agriturismo complex comprises 5 independent apartments: the 2 largest are on the first floor, the other 3 at ground floor level. All are tastefully furnished with original Tuscan farmhouse pieces that have been restored.
The first floor apartments have a large terrace, ideal for outdoor dining with a unique view that encompasses the stretch of sea that between the San Vincenzo and Follonica coasts as well as the Island of Elba and its neighbouring islands. As to the sunsets - only the Etruscan Coast could make them this spectacular.
The 3 ground floor apartments offer a rare if not unique opportunity to be surrounded by typical and traditional stone walls that are also encrusted with fossils, and vaulted ceilings that maintain an atmosphere times past..
These apartments all have private access and comprise: a dining area with a double sofa-bed, a fully equipped custom-built kitchen complete with microwave and washing machine, a large double bedroom with space to add an extra bed and a bathroom with built-in shower.
Each has its own outside area with table, chairs sun umbrella and /or portico, perfect for al fresco dining. All apartments have a television and are climate controlled and / or centrally heated.
Guests four-legged friends are welcome
Guests at the Masseto Agriturismo can buy home grown, typically Tuscan produce and products.
Guests are invited to make full use of the garden, parts of which are set up with tables and comfortable chairs to relax in. There is also a large swimming pool with sundeck, shower, chairs and sun-umbrellas, complete with lighting for night-time use.
The nearby “LIDO E LIDA” Restaurant/Pizzeria, owned by the managers of the agriturismo, specializes in typical local meat, game and fish dishes and clients can sample some of the most prestigious wines be found along the Etruscan Coast’s very own “wine route”.
Guests staying at the agriturismo will receive a discount on any meals taken at the restaurant.
